I'm sure everyone who has a TV has seen those stupid High Fructose Corn Syrup commercials that have been trying to brainwash people into believing HFCS is a great "natural" product. Corn Refiners Association marketers are full of shit--HFCS is NOT a natural product. But if the highly processed nature of this product doesn't bother you, that's probably because you don't know what actually happens during the refining process (a.k.a. mercurification).
Apparently if you go to your local grocery store, buy some random HFCS-containing products, and then test them for mercury you will find that almost half of the products with high fructose corn syrup contain mercury. Yum! Why choose something like honey to use as a sweetener--it's only created by bees! That's un-Americuhn. True patriots only eat food produced in an industrial complex by mixing dozens of poisonous chemicals together. Also, how on earth could an average Americuhn afford enough honey to make up for eating 34 teaspoons of sugar a day? In this economy? Why, you'd be lucky to afford half that! "What's wrong with HFCS?" indeed. They don't even put mercury in most THERMOMETERS anymore... In fact, I bet your odds of consuming mercury are greater if you eat a high fructose corn syrup product than if you just randomly started eating thermometers. |
